Community Resources

Ohio is rich with community resources. Our relationships with case management agencies, support organizations, HIV testing professionals, medical providers, public officials, and others living with and affected by HIV/AIDS are our greatest resource in improving overall health and wellness.

OAC has gathered and organized a collection of resources including fact sheets, presentations, and videos dealing with a variety of topics related to HIV/AIDS. You’ll find them in the tabs to the left. Please let us know if there is anything you would like us to add!

The Ohio HIV/STI Hotline

(800) 332-2437 www.ohiv.org

The Ohio HIV/STI Hotline provides callers with information about HIV, STIs, sexual health, and testing/health resources – privately and anonymously.

Callers can receive accurate information about many topics including general sexual health, HIV/STI transmission, prevention methods, and testing. The statewide Hotline is also a resource for persons living with HIV/AIDS, and acts as an information and referral service to Ohio residents. This includes referrals to linkage to care services, local health departments and HIV/AIDS organizations, mental health facilities, medical, legal and dental practitioners, etc.

Health professionals may also contact the hotline to find resources, testing sites, and general care information. It is also appreciated when organizations update us with new testing and service information. For ODH supported testing sites, please find an interactive map here.
